Job Description

Position Description:

         The electrical project engineer (RE) is responsible for leading and coordinating all technical activities on a major satellite antenna subsystem program. The RE is responsible and accountable for ensuring that contract requirements are satisfied while meeting defined schedules and budgets. An antenna related technical background, including design and test, is required to ensure technical accuracy of the designs.

         Leads and directs teams in the design, development, and test activities of antenna subsystems for satellite programs.

         Ensures that team members are effectively communicating and facilitates program activities.

         Prepares and monitors schedules, budgets, and test plans for program hardware and activities.

         Develops risk management plans based on technical inputs from team members.

         Prepare and present technical reviews to management and customers.

         Leads and directs teams in identifying problems and implementing corrective actions.

         Ensures that designs meet or exceed customer specifications.

         Performs requirements and trade study analysis.

         Provides technical interface with customers, external agencies, and vendors.

         Assists in Monitors subcontracts for technical compliance and schedule.

         Contributes to organizational improvement efforts. Antenna design and test experience from UHF to Ka-band.

Position Requirements

         Proficiency with industry standard EM CAD tools.

         Excellent verbal and written communications and presentations skill.

         This position requires BS with 5+ yrs of relevant industry experience.
