Job Description

Join a globally focused non-profit promoting world-changing ideas and inspiring leaders-in-the making.

As the PM in charge of the Catalyst program, you will shape our strategy alongside the Executive Director to help grow our program on a global scale. If this is the kind of opportunity that gets you up in the morning, we want to hear from you!

We seek someone with the ambition to start his or her own organization someday – someone who has the tenacity to work in a small startup environment. You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty as you work with our Executive Director on program development, scaling challenges, and fundraising strategy. You will get firsthand experience with all aspects of a globally focused nonprofit organization. From technology and growing the team to revenue models and partnerships. You will be contributing to key decisions at every turn.

Within 1 month, you will…

* Deeply understand the social entrepreneurs we serve

* Manage the Spring cohort program logistics, events, speakers, participants and teams

* Develop metrics for tracking success

* Promote the program around Seattle and get new people involved

Within 3 months, you will…

* Assist in developing and improving the program curriculum

* Own the email marketing, social media, website & PR strategy

* Develop long-term plan for post-program follow-up and experience

* Assist with the outreach programs including planning and conducting events and guest speakers

* Identify and support partner events as needed such as Start-up Weekend

Within 6 months, you will…

* Manage the candidate recruiting, selection and interview process

* Mentor and lead a team of program interns

Within 12 months, you will…

* Own the Catalyst program planning end-to-end

* Manage the Catalyst program budget

Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree

* 2-4 years work experience demonstrating skills required for the position

* Entrepreneurial/Startup experience would be valuable

* Event management experience is a plus

* Excellent references.

Skills:

* Self-starter motivated to succeed and earn significant responsibility in a startup team

* Proven ability to deliver more with less (we work with a non-profit budget!)

* Entrepreneurial by nature (experience with starting organizations helpful)

* Able to keep, maintain and coordinate multiple schedules and projects

* Excellent time management, analytical skills, good judgment and creativity

* Proficient in use of technology tools and programs

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (examples helpful)

* Can clearly and concisely articulate ideas and opinions during requirements and design sessions with stakeholder teams.
