Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, positive, happy person who is looking for flexibility in a job. You can work from home, the beach, or a mountainside as long as you have access to email and internet. Customer support is incredibly important to us and we are looking an expert who enjoys helping other people and solving problems in a timely fashion. Jungle Scout gets customer support emails throughout the day and night and we are looking for someone who can work throughout the day. You will not need to work for 8 straight hours but more realistically for 1-2 hours in the morning 1 hour in the afternoon and 1 hour at night. You will work directly with the owner of Jungle Scout and get training from him to understand how to solve problems and complaints as well as reply to customer appreciation emails. We estimate you will work 20 hours per week, we are currently averaging 20-25 emails a day.

What You Will Do:

Reply to all emails (currently 20-50 per day) within 1 day of receipt of email with sincerity, kindness, and respect. You have the freedom to delight, surprise and impress each and every customer.

Record customer interactions, details of questions, complaints, comments, praise as well as actions taken.

Use a computer system to track, gather information and or troubleshoot customer issues.

Refer unresolved customer issues to supervisor



Qualifications

A happy positive outlook on life

Excellent English with a firm grip on grammar

The ability to reply to all customer emails in a positive and timely manner, like a real person not a robot machine.

Exceptional communication skills

Ability to de-escalate a tense situation with ease and grace—a bug or upset customer does not scare you, it’s a challenge and you are up for it

Self-motivation—you will not be micromanaged but expected to complete the job quickly and effectively

Tech savvy skillset—good with computers, software, websites etc.

BONUS SKILLS:

Ability to manage social media accounts i.e. facebook

Experience or understanding of selling on Amazon

Advertising/Marketing experience— large or small companies, SEO, facebook ads etc.
