Job Description

Work as team member of the Multifamily Strategic Transformation (MST) team supporting Asset Management.

Lead and/or participate in the business requirements gathering effort by working with business SMEs, MST team members, and external vendor to elicit, document, and/or review detailed requirements, process flows, and use cases/sub use cases according to Freddie Mac standards, including but not limited to the following: BRD, Functional Requirements/Specifications, Business Rules, and Use Cases/Sub Use Cases/Collaboration Cases.

Lead and/or participate in UAT activities, including developing UAT strategy and plan, test scenarios/test cases, and expected results. Coordinate UAT execution activities with IT, external vendor,  and business SMEs. Document test defects and provide daily UAT status updates and Test Summary Report. Work with vendor to resolve issues and defects.

Document and escalate business issues to Business Lead and Lead SME for resolution.

Collaborate with and support IT and vendor by answering questions and reviewing technical deliverables to ensure understanding of business requirements.

Participate in development and documentation of business rules and data validation rules, as well as data analysis activities, including data mapping, data modeling, and business data dictionary.

Assist in the development and documentation of training material and user guide documentation as time permits.




7+ years of experience in analyzing business functions and accurately documenting critical requirements that represent the business needs including the future state business activities. Ability to focus on the “what” of the business function and not the ˜how” of the solution. Experience in supporting the building of mission-critical business applications.

5+ years of experience in the creation and documentation of test plans and test cases. Thorough knowledge of both manual and automated testing. Proven experience in testing Web-based enterprise applications, specifically J2EE applications with MS SQL Server RDBMS.

Strong facilitation and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, SMEs, vendor, and management on both the business and IT sides.

Familiarity with different development lifecycles and methodologies, including SDLC, and Agile development approach.

Understanding of the mortgage industry, preferably commercial or multifamily real estate asset management.

Understanding of multifamily asset management and servicing a plus.

Familiarity with MS Office software, Visio, relational DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server), SQL, Doors, Quality Center, ClearCase/ClearQuest, and Sharepoint.
