Job Description
The Recruitment Manager will assist in developing and maintaining the infrastructure for recruitment, which includes assisting in fostering equity-driven hiring practices, establishing partnerships, enacting strategies to build the diversity and caliber of applicant pools, a standardized cultivation and application process, and processing candidate workflow. The Recruitment Manager is an exceptional leader and has a strong commitment to their team's collective and individual success and to KIPP Texas's commitment to equity. The Recruitment Manager will work with other recruitment team members and implement a selection process for processing qualified candidates. As a member of the KIPP Texas Talent Recruitment Team for School Support Partners (SSP, central office) recruitment, they will assist in building an SSP team that reflects the diversity of our students and embodies the values of KIPP Texas Public Schools.
The Ideal Recruitment Manager,
- Has a deep understanding of talent acquisition, is passionate about candidate experience, has helped scale recruiting functions, and isn’t afraid to roll-up their sleeves and dig in.
- Brings diversity sourcing experience and demonstrated sourcing strategies that will contribute to KIPP Texas-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Able to manage ambiguity, have good decision quality, and pivot when needed.
- Able to assess candidates’ competitiveness and needs quickly; ability to match candidates with the position to which they are most likely to be a match, ability to analyze data, and make strategic campaign adjustments.
- Can build and manage a strong, healthy team that is focused on both what we do (our goals) and how we do it (our values).

Experience/Skills Required:
- BA or equivalent relevant work experience
- 1+ years of managerial experience
- 2 + years experience leading team and/or division-wide initiatives
- Strong organizational acumen and ability to build relationships and understand the needs of the organization
- Results-driven with communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and leverage data to accurately forecast and help the team drive effective recruitment strategies
