The Senior Estimator will be responsible for assessing post-loss property damages on complex commercial and industrial buildings. Advanced knowledge and experience in complex construction projects is required. 

Job responsibilities

• Provide detailed replacement costs valuations on multiple building types
  

• Perform site inspections including quantity surveying, measuring, site meetings, etc.

• Produce detailed Construction specifications and bid documents

• Construction contract management

• Coordinate communication between multiple sophisticated stakeholders

• Consulting services to senior level insurance adjusters
  

  
  

• A minimum of 10 years of construction experience in the construction industry
• Specialization in any of the following areas is preferred: oil & gas, forestry, shipping, mining, and energy systems.
  
• A PQS designation, technical school degree or a degree in architecture, construction, or engineering is also preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
• Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn various electronic and manual estimating systems such as Xactimate and BOECKH.
• Ability to learn new software and take on whatever challenges may come their way.
• Must be bondable
• Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation on company business
