Job Description

The Enterprise SharePoint Architect will contribute to architecture, design, configuration of our government client's SharePoint implementations. The person selected for this role will lead solution and architecture development for complex SharePoint implementations using appropriate software engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will also Identify business drivers and desired outcomes of the SharePoint implementation based on customer requirement, identify business process improvement made possible by SharePoint implementation, analyze dependencies, explore integration points, identify risk and concerns, document security and governance requirements, build a customized architectural roadmap to SharePoint implementation. Will assess and evaluate existing SharePoint implementations and present recommendations to various levels of management. 

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • ·Minimum of 8 years as a Solutions Architect with a proven track record of delivering SOA solutions to customers, including database implementation, consolidation, and application integration.
  • ·Experience with WSS (Windows SharePoint Services) or MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server), or SharePoint Object Model, Web Parts, and Web Services, or SPS 2010 or SharePoint 2013
  • ·Hands on experience managing and or upgrading SharePoint applications using COTS tools (Doc Ace, Metalogix)
  • ·Experience developing collaboration governance for SharePoint deployments in a large scale deployment (50,000+ users)
  • ·Knowledge of the FISMA and FedRAMP Security Accreditation Processes.
  • ·Knowledge of Office 365 Federal Offerings and other commercial SharePoint as a Service Offerings
  • ·Experience/knowledge in developing applications utilizing Microsoft .NET, SharePoint and MS SQL.
  • ·Experience with knowledge of software engineering concepts, including the software development life-cycle and design for GUI and databases
  • ·Strong Project Management Skills and familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) software development and ITIL based service management to support operation
  • ·Excellent written and oral communications skills

Desired Skills

  • ·Microsoft certifications in applicable and related areas preferred
  • ·Familiarity with CBP SharePoint environment and CBP OIT processes and procedures is highly desired

 

Educational Requirements

  • ·BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.

 

Government Eligibility Requirements

  • ·Candidate selected must be able to obtain and maintain government eligibility requirements and must meet U.S. Citizenship eligibility requirements.
