Kaltura is looking for a Back End Developer to work on our core server Products

• Excellent programming abilities in one or more of the following- C++/ JAVA/ PHP / NodeJs

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent

• Ability to work in a results-driven, high pressure environment

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of design patterns

• Experience with these is also a bonus:

• Programming abilities in Linux

• Solid knowledge of web standards, cross-browser, cross-platform and cross device compatibility

• Nice to have:

• 2+ years of demonstrated software development experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the product development life cycle

• Experience with Live Streaming and new online multimedia sharing technologies

• Demonstrated expertise with Video/ Audio delivery and playback

• Knowledge of webcasting, conferencing and real time Video

• Proven experience using audio/ video frameworks, codecs and technologies
