The Professional Services Web Application developer is part of Kaltura’s professional services team, who’s responsible to deliver customized solutions to clients. The role includes developing on top of the Kaltura’s platform and enhancing the core applications, integrating with customers and 3rd parties systems, and creating tools for ease customers integrations and operations.

In this role you will

• Build Web Applications and new features for Kaltura’s clients on top of the core product, while enhancing the core capabilities
• Participate in the prototyping, analysis, design, development and delivery of applications and solutions that delight our customers
• Collaborate with other teams, including Solution Architects, QA, Sales, Customer Success, and the Core R&D team, to deliver state of the art custom solutions to clients.
• Ensure a quality solutions through applying industry standards for technical excellence practices – including design reviews, performance modeling, and code inspections
• Be in direct communication with customers for technical training, design reviews and implementations. 

• 3+ years of demonstrated web application development experience in a large scale product environment.
• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science / Engineering highly desired
• Thorough understanding of and experience working on web technologies such as REST, HTTP, JSON required
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 (Bootstrap), AJAX, JavaScript and jQuery required
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC required
• Experience in PHP or equivalent high level language (e.g. .NET, Java) required
• Linux and Apache experience desired
• Zend framework experience desired
