My client, a small CPA firm located in the Tenafly, NJ area, Bergen County(easy commute across the river from Manhattan, Bronx, etc.) is looking for a public accountant with solid tax experience.

While the majority of work performed will be tax, this candidate will be exposed to all facets of accounting for the firm's clients, such as audits, valuations, forensic/litigation work, etc.

This is a fantastic LONG-TERM opportunity to grow professionally and rise quickly, as this position will be groomed for Partner in short time due to retirements/succession planning.  This is a very important role to the firm.

Qualified candidates will have:

Degree in Accounting

CPA or parts of the exam (Those without parts must be willing to take exams)

Solid public experience in Tax.  A generalist background is preferred, with exposure to Individual, Corporate, and Partnership returns.

At least 5-7 years experience in a CPA firm
