A top CPA firm in the region is looking for a State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager or Principal for its NYC office.

Candidates will participate in state and local income tax planning, perform research projects, assist with multi-state tax audits and prepare and review state and local tax returns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting required. Master of Science in Taxation, Juris Doctor with Accounting or Tax, or Master of Law in Taxation preferred.
• CPA, MS in Taxation and/or LLM preferred (or in process)
• 5 + years experience working in State and Local tax for a public accounting firm, other professional services firm or comparable industry experience
