Job Description

Our client is seeking part-time Caseworkers for our Insurance Services Division.  We are looking for team players with a positive and energetic attitude.  Hours for this part-time position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Plus, weekends and overtime may be required as business needs demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Locating and retrieving medical records on insurance applicants by calling medical facilities
  • Verifying the applicant information
  • Negotiating the medical fees and the expedition of the records

Skills/Experience (required):

  • Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
  • Excellent spelling
  • Type at least 30-40 wpm

OR

seeking part-time OSC – Reviewers for our Insurance Services Division.  We are looking for team players with a positive and energetic attitude.  Hours for these part-time positions are Monday - Friday,  7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Plus, weekends and overtime as business needs demand.

 

Responsibilities:  

 

  • Review incoming medical records to ensure accuracy

 

Skills/Experience (required):

 

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent attendance and work record
  • Type 30 wpm
  • PC and Microsoft Office experience

 

Skills/Experience (Desired):

 

  • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA
  • Training in medical records/terminology

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Prior call center or medical office
  • Prior customer service
