KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and out patient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, women's health, and urgent care. Specialty services provide home health and hospice, physical, speech and occupational therapies and a geriatric nurse practitioner program.

Responsible for managing activities related to the implementation of new applications and the administration of identified clinical applications. Works collaboratively with physicians, clinical leadership, clinical staff and information system personnel to coordinate new implementations and upgrades. Oversees requests for system changes, daily maintenance and regulatory requirements. Provides application administration and support for advanced clinical information systems. Provides analysis of Clinical Informatics activities and formulates recommendations designed to improve clinical operational effectiveness. Serves as a resource to the organization relating to clinical practice and information technology interrelation. Manages clinical decision support and clinical reporting.

What is required...

• Bachelor's degree or minimum of four years' experience in clinical informatics field at a hospital
• At least three years' of previous leadership experience

What is preferred...

• RN license
• Previous experience with Cerner

Wage Range:  Starting at $84,000/year; actual wage will depend on applicable years of experience
