Who is KVH...

KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient, and outpatient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, women’s health, pediatrics, workplace health and urgent care. Specialty services provide home health and hospice, physical, speech and occupational therapies, and a geriatric nurse practitioner program.

Pharmacy Technicians work closely with Pharmacy and ancillary healthcare staff to prepare and distribute patient specific medications and medications stocked within Pyxis throughout KVH owned facilities. The Pharmacy technician will be supervised by the Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy director

What is required...

• Current Washington State Technician License
• High school degree or equivalent

What is preferred...

• CPhT National Certification
• 1 year previous experience in a hospital pharmacy
• CPR card (maintenance not required)
• Previous experience with IV Admixture
• Previous experience with Pyxis and CII Safe

Wage:  Wage range starts at $18.00/hour; actual starting wage will depend on years' of applicable experience.   This position is also eligible to receive an additional 15% premium, on top of the base wage.  This 15% premium is in lieu of benefits.

FTE:  Per Diem

Shift:  Variable
