Job Description

This position will provide remote and on-site technical support to company clients.  Position will start out as part-time and grow to full-time.


  • Troubleshoot, repair, setup and maintain client computers, servers and operating systems

  • Communicate with clients, vendors, employees and managers in a professional manner

  • Track client tickets, activities, progress, and expenses using company processes and systems i.e. CRM, Help Desk app

  • Perform on-site repairs of computers, servers and hardware for clients and company

  • Install, maintain, and optimize Windows, Linux, and Macintosh computers

  • Resolve technical issues with email, TCP/IP, internet, switches, routers, wifi, browsers, networks, network connections and remote access

  • Write quality content for website and assist in promoting company website

  • Create tutorial videos demonstrating computer/server repair

  • Support and maintain NAS and SAN file storage

  • Use and maintain work supplies/tools including: adapters, wires and cables (to a variety of peripherals/hardware), computers and networks devices

  • Keep company issued equipment, tools and supplies organized and in good working order

  • Present a professional, clean, organized appearance in dealing with clients

  • Stay current on technological solutions and attain additional certification, as required

  • Attend marketing events, as required

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent; Associates Degree in related field preferred

  • 2-5 years of experience providing Technical Support for multiple clients and systems
  • Certification as a MCITP/MCP or COMPTia A+ IT Technician preferred
  • Proficiency in using Help Desk and CRM systems to track help desk tickets
  • Knowledge of and/or training in Windows, Linux and Mac systems and networks
  • Current Drivers License with insurable driving record
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Server 2008 preferred
  • Experience with VMWare ESXi preferred

Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts.  Shift Differential pay provided.
