Job Description

Provide strategic Corporate Affairs support that clearly communicates Kraft Canada’s positions to engage key stakeholders, including consumers and the media, for the entire $3 billion Canadian business unit in order to further build and enhance Kraft Canada’s position as the top Canadian food company



Key Responsibilities


  • Build superior brand value and awareness by developing brand PR strategies & plans with local marketing teams and overseeing strategic, creative and media-genic programs that support key BU priorities
  • Focus on employee communication through intranet and engaging employees on social engagements
  • Ensure all external communications advance Kraft Canada’s objectives and reflect a consistent company message
  • Handle media inquiries by serving as company spokesperson on relevant issues, media opportunities and on appropriate industry councils and associations
  • Collaborate effectively with Human Resources partners to support internal communications efforts and help launch culture and change initiatives
  • Support Community Involvement programs and initiatives
  • On-going management of Kraft Canada Internet and Intranet


  • 5-7 years’ experience, with relevant university degree
  • Superior writing, research, presentation, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Excels at building relationships internally and externally
  • Skilled at managing media relations to build rapport and company reputation with key reporters
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept at internal communications
  • Adaptable to changing business dynamics
  • Able to effective manage crisis situations as needed
  • Willing to work in team format and with global mindset
  • Proficiency in French an asset
  • Experienced in dealing with all levels of an organization, including executives
