Job Description

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll hit the ground running to help us:

  • Scale the team, make technical direction decisions while also directly contributing to technical work
  • Make pragmatic engineering decisions in a short amount of time
  • Help set a broad direction and vision, put together a strategy, and implement tactical approaches to delivery a seamless experience for our users
  • Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads across engineering teams while being a hands-on manager
  • Hire world class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
  • Manage projects and deliver quantifiable results in a timely manner

Qualifications

You have:

  • 7+ years experience in building large scale applications using Ruby, Java or similar languages 
  • A strong desire to mentor and grow your engineering team
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience
  • Led, managed and hired a team of talented software engineers
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent people skills to partner with various key business stakeholders
