Job Description

Overall Results Expected: To ensure that payments and reports are processed in an accurate and timely manner, with appropriate entries made into our systems and appropriate backup held in our files; to interface with operations staff to ensure that all reports and payments are accurate.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Collects compliance and accounting related project paperwork (utilization plans, scope verification, award verifications, workforce payment verification, etc.)
  • Prepares and verifies reports (compliance reports, cancelled check reports, etc.) for all projects with diversity goals
  • Assists Compliance Manager with training of Project Staff
  • Fields calls from operations staff and managers seeking information; investigates and responds politely and promptly to all such requests
  • Processes invoices from vendors for goods and services and enter into the accounting      system
  • Collects data and prepares Union Census reports
  • Prepares reports as requested by various Executives and Project Managers.
  • Verifies Payment Reports
  • Performs administrative function (filing, copying, etc.) for Compliance function
  • Additional responsibilities as may be assumed or assigned in support of the company’s efforts to achieve client loyalty and in support of the company’s mission and values
  • Attends conferences and special events as required
  • Professional demeanor and dress at all times
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to meetings in various locations.



  1. Bachelors or Associates degree in, accounting,  business administration or a closely related field
  2. One year experience working in accounting or administrative function preferred
  3. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable in the event that either requirement is not met as stated
  4. Advanced Excel is required
  5. Competent in gathering and reporting  data
  6. Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to view a situation from multiple angles, collaboratively brainstorm on solutions and identify the best course to move forward
  7. A strong detail orientation and a commitment to producing work that is accurate the first time
  8. Strength in initiative-taking, and a demonstrated track record in proactively identifying improvement opportunities and acting upon them
  9. Ability to build excellent relations with our internal and external client base, building a reputation for competence, quality, trustworthiness, and ability to get the job done right
  10. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks demanding of immediate attention, and to juggle multiple, on-going, concurrent responsibilities
  11. Competence in common computer applications including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)  and Internet
  12. Courses in and strong aptitude for statistics, trending analysis, etc.
