Performs basic clerical functions.
Schedule, Coordinate, and monitor appointments.
Assists with screen and follow up patient test results.
Collect and process specimens.
Perform diagnostic tests, such as: Urine multisticks, urine pregnancy tests, and Hemoccult tests.
Obtain patient history and vital signs.
Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
Prepare patient for examinations procedures and treatments.
Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Recognize and respond to emergencies.
Coordinate patient care information with other health care providers.
Maintain supply inventory.
HS Diploma/GED with some Medical Assistance training.
1 - 3 yrs experience preferred.
