The Role:

This person will be responsible for communicating event marketing plans, budgeting advertising spends, communicating branding decisions, organizing marketing meetings, cross-divisional marketing communications as well as doing power point decks and research on marketing initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have extensive music knowledge; event planning, concert or sports marketing experience; familiarity with multiple music genres, a thick skin and the ability to work at a fast pace while juggling multiple tasks.


Responsibilities:

· Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties for the EVP.

· Create powerpoint decks on key initiatives

· Proactively handle cross divisional marketing communications

Do research on key topics and present to EVP

- Stay on top of news that is trending and proactively communicate to the marketing leads

- Create a newsletter with key articles and trends that pertain to entertainment marketing

· Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings is required (as dictated by show dates, deadlines, etc.)

· Assist in additional duties as needed

Superior communication, problem solving and internet research skills and attention to detail

· Understanding of digital and social platforms

· Adaptability to change

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and timelines

· Professional, level-headed and positive demeanor

· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote required; Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and video editing knowledge a plus



Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Prior experience in event assisting/planning or marketing experience within an entertainment, sports or public assembly facility setting

· Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach

· Working knowledge of Carolinas region media

· Video / Graphic design capabilities are a plus
