Job Description

A typical day in the life of the Human Resources Manager will consist of…

  • Supporting the achievement of business objectives by leading the implementation of HR strategies, processes, programs, and policies aligned with business strategy
  • Assisting the company in its change management efforts by understanding the desired outcomes, effectively involving, managing and communicating with those impacted by change and mitigating the barriers to change
  • Partnering with internal business leaders to enhance their individual and team effectiveness and to support them in driving business strategies
  • Interpreting and training employees on HR policies and programs
  • Encouraging an environment of collaboration within the HR department
  • Developing and maintaining employer-employee relationships that contribute to satisfactory productivity, motivation, and morale
  • Monitoring the pulse of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement in support of the organization’s culture
  • Supporting talent life cycle processes including performance management, succession planning and development activities
  • Establishing and continuously maintaining detailed job descriptions, include roles, responsibilities, required skills and competencies, etc., in collaboration with management
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition in the recruitment & selection process
  • Ensuring HR metrics are aligned with business metrics and drive improvement in delivery to support company initiatives
  • Assisting with interpreting policies, regulations, and programs in a manner conducive to company goals
  • Performing benefits administration to include enrollment, status changes, and handling employee inquiries and claim issues

Qualifications

You will meet or exceed qualifications…

  • Four-year degree required, specialization in a related discipline preferred
  • 6+ years of progressively responsible HR experience; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience providing HR support to senior level leaders
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with labor law
  • Experience in compensation preferred
  • Ability to organize complex priorities
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented with confidence and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships and rapport with colleagues and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment
  • Experience with a variety of HR technology platforms; Workday experience preferre
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Possess a willingness to help
  • Facilitation and project management experience is preferred
