livingHR is looking for an Instructional Designer to work on a Contract/Part-Time basis to support our rapidly growing business. The person can live outside of the Tampa area and can work remotely.

Job Description

A typical day in the life of an Instructional Designer might consist of…

  • Developing programs and materials that maximize knowledge transfer by aligning recognized best practices of instructional theory with business strategies
  • Collaborating with team members to synthesize business requirements into various training materials
  • Developing high quality, easy to consume, innovative learning and performance support solutions using various technologies, within an agile or rapid e-learning development process

Qualifications

You will meet or exceed them...
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Communication or Training and Development and minimum of 5 years of related experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Solid understanding of methodology and best practices in both Learning and Development and Instructional Development; proven experience in the areas of current design methods, micro learning, gamification and social learning
  • Proficiency in industry standard Adobe CC applications including Captivate, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; strong working knowledge of modern eLearning tools
  • Extensive knowledge and experience using PowerPoint including using masters, designing for various output media, object animations, etc.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to understand complex material and explain it clearly
