Job Description

We are seeking exceptional talent to join our growing team!

This entry level, full-time role is dedicated to support our offsite Field Communications team located in Horsham, PA. The team manages the communications to the North America-based sales force of a large-scale pharmaceutical company headquartered in New Jersey, with locations around the globe. This role will fulfill a variety of functions in order to help the communications team support the growth objectives of the business, including building a united, “One Team” network across multiple franchises and supporting the field organization with current, user-oriented content that helps employees do their jobs.

Responsibilities will include building, maintaining, curating and supporting the Field Communications corporate intranet. Currently, this portal is built in SharePoint 2007 and will be migrating to a new platform; however this individual would need to be flexible to learn and manage any new portals/technologies the teams adopt. Additionally, the Communication Specialist will manage and maintain distribution lists across multiple channels, including Microsoft Outlook, an Automated Distribution List (ADL) tool, and Send Word Now (SMS text messaging), with a focus on ongoing quality control. Ideally, individuals will become familiar with the inner-workings of the sales organizations and will understand and identify the nuances within them to ensure we are effectively communicating with the intended audiences. Responsibilities will also involve compilation and distribution of communications and newsletters as, and management of multiple aspects of logistics for field-facing meetings.

Ongoing duties will include the coordination of multiple activities to support the Communications Team as well as ad-hoc requests and special projects, including but not limited to: coordinating items and liaising as appropriate with business partners where necessary, maintaining an editorial calendar, analytics and trackers, etc.

Keen business skills and the ability to learn and understand the dynamics of a full-scale communications function while working as part of a team are required. Occasional travel to the Titusville, NJ campus is required.

  • Have Web Curation experience, preferably on 2 or more different software platforms
