The Loan Opener responsibilities include under general supervision, new application review, data entry, ordering services (FHA Connection, appraisal, title, credit, flood, etc.), fax or email Verification of Employment or Verification of Deposit requests, verification of data integrity in our loan origination software. File preparation and submission to processing staff.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: May include, but not be limited to the following:

• Assemble documents in loan file

• Verify all data for accuracy; recognize and correct errors in Reverse Vision

• Scanning and uploading file documentation into LOS

• Emailing the processor to advise of file assignment

• Other duties and/or mortgage or company related tasks as assigned by management

• Ensure confidentiality of client files

• The employee shall work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines and shall, at all times, demonstrate professional behavior with colleagues and supervisors

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong customer service and communication skills are a must

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year mortgage experience including FHA

 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task

• A “Can Do” attitude
