Longbridge Financial is looking for a seasoned  FHA DE Underwriter.    If you are interested in taking the next step in your career that will enable you to help build the foundation of an exciting company, than this role could be a perfect fit. 

1. Analyze credit files and issue quality loan decisions based on guidelines and company overlay.

2. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting guidelines and stay up to date with any new guidelines/regulations.

3. Recruit, lead, and develop a team of DE underwriting professionals as the company grows and expands.

4. Ensure loans meet product and investor specifications.

5. Effectively communicate loan decisions with the processing and origination staff

- Must be DE Certified, CHUMS number required

- 3+ years experience with reverse mortgage underwriting – experience must be recent

- Strong knowledge of government guidelines and mortgagee letters

-Proven leader in a dynamic and growing environment with the ability to recruit and retain high quality talent

- Ability to manage high volume, while still ensuring quality loan decisions are being made

- Strong communication skills

- Team player with positive attitude
