Job Description

We're looking for a Product Leader to take ownership of all things product at Lyst. From our iOS app to our rich desktop experience, you will lead the design and build of a beautiful, user friendly and commercially successful customer experience for one of the largest high-end fashion e-commerce sites in the world.

This role provides an exciting challenge at an important time of growth that will allow you to help Lyst build our product strategy across all areas of the world of fashion. You will work closely with the co-founders to develop and execute our product strategy - a strategy that complements the business goals of the company and also makes the most of the digital context to deliver a distinct and memorable experience to our users. You will lead a close-knit, 12 person Product Team that strives to deliver engaging experiences to our customers by seamlessly blending fashion and technology across all our consumer touch-points.

Qualifications

We've looked wide and far for this profile and believe we're closer to narrowing this down, however the title is still up for discussion, we'll decide this in a sensible manner through the process.

This is going to be a role where we find someone based on Talent over experience. You'll be looking to take a step up, leading a product team. You might have a degree in anything from Computer Science to Economics or not at all. You will likely have the quantitative nous from time at somewhere like McKinsey or Bain. You'll also be able to think through the long term vision and immediate commercial needs, so it's likely you've been an entrepreneur or part of Techstars, Entrepreneur First or equivalent. Most importantly, you'll understand the need to move quickly and think of product beyond the wire-framing approach of yore.

Product

Expertise in product management is ideal, but moving into it at a high level for 4 years or so is fine. You will value user experience and design principles/techniques but have the ability to lead all aspects of product at a group level. You will love making a highly commercial product vision come to life in the form of a exceptional consumer experience.

Leadership

Open minded, engaging and mission driven leader able to understand the needs of a wide group of stakeholders. Highly visible, with personal integrity, credibility and influencing skills, you'll be someone to whom leadership comes naturally.

Execution

Proven delivery abilities at international scale with pace, precision and excellence. Able to effortlessly take ideas and concepts through a reliable planning/process framework to build experiences and features that delight users first time and deliver key commercial goals. You'll need to prove that you have delivered significant commercial success from your prior work. 

Analytical

You'll take a highly analytical approach with the ability to uncover, detail, visualise and solve fundamental challenges in a logical manner. Deep personal expertise in data analysis, data management and metric/scorecard development is a real bonus. 

Growth

You will know and understand growth at a commercial level. From costs of customer acquisition to conversion rates, you'll know what metrics work and apply them to the product vision.Significant exposure in a consumer online leader that has experienced exponential growth with international dynamics would be an ideal place to come from.
