We are looking for an SEO Director to accelerate our SEO efforts here at Lyst, and exploit the huge opportunities we see every day.

Our teams are focused on growing our business and SEO lies at the heart of our global growth strategy over the next few years. With SEO representing a significant channel for the business, we have internal analytics, engineering, outreach, and copy as a dedicated resource to continue to grow this channel. 

As our SEO Director you will take ownership of managing the team and strategy to ensure that we continue to be at the forefront of the way people shop for fashion. You will be working closely with the Head of Organic Acquisition and our highly skilled team of SEO and Digital PR experts, you will take ownership of projects and initiatives and lead the SEO to deliver growth, on a huge scale, in line with company wide goals.

Your day to day role will include:

  • Leading the advancement of SEO and ASO to significantly increase organic performance.
  • Qualifying, sizing and executing on initiatives that have the propensity to deliver large scale growth.
  • Working alongside Product and Engineering teams to ensure our website changes deliver positive improvements to the metrics we care about.
  • Defining and owning the SEO roadmap, covering website architecture, crawling, indexing and data quality, as well as a user-centered approach to Organic search.
  • Leading, mentoring and managing the SEO team, while ensuring we're capitalising on the largest opportunities.
  • Separating the signal from the noise when it comes to SEO performance, before making recommendations and then doubling down when we see the signal.

Qualifications

This is a senior role on the team here at Lyst and we are looking for someone who is looking for a new challenge in their SEO career where they will be able to make an impact on aspects of a business whose lifeblood is traffic. 

You will be:

An Executor with a proven track record delivering projects at scale with pace, precision and excellence. Able to effortlessly bring data-driven ideas which have the propensity to deliver meaningful growth, to fruition.

Analytical, because here at Lyst we love data. You will have the ability to drive a data focus in all decisions for both your teams and the wider business. Your deep personal expertise in data analysis will allow you to uncover, detail, visualise and solve some of the fundamental challenges regarding enterprise level SEO in a logical manner.

Growth Minded, because SEO is intrinsically linked to the growth of our platform and our business. You will have experienced exponential growth in an SEO role, ideally where you'd led a team or a business. You will be continually able to find, prioritise and pivot to opportunities for expansion and performance improvement as part of a clear strategy for SEO growth.

A Leader, open minded, engaging and mission driven. You will be able to integrate different functional groups to form a consensus for core aims and delivery expectations. Highly visible personal integrity, credibility and influencing skills.
