You will have the opportunity to bring new technology to market that will revolutionize the way we do things.    We are looking for you to be able to work in an upbeat, exciting Bethesda, MD startup company with a strong marketing and technical focus. Our corporate culture is often fast-paced and still maintains a calm and cool energy. Everyone on the team is passionate about what we do. The team arrives at different times, ranging from around 9 AM to staying into the late evening.    Our growing team has 5-8 team members working onsite on any given day and several more teleworking. Ideally you would become a long term member of our team.    The foremost requirement we look for is that every member of our team is energetic, enthusiastic, likes technology, and enjoys communicating with other people frequently. 

Job Description

We’re looking for a versatile team member with experience in automation, robotics and firmware programming to not only help us develop our firmware for the Micro 3D printer, but build rigs and semi-automated rigs to assist in assembly. The right person is able to learn quickly and break down a problem efficiently into its components to divide and conquer the problem. He/she is also able to learn new skills quickly and work well both alone and with a team.

Qualifications

    • Versatile: Able to learn new skills quickly and be able to contribute in multiple areas.

    • A plus if you have Solidworks and mechanical engineering experience

    • Experience programming embedded systems and PCB layout design

    • C programming experience required

    • Knowledge of g-code and motion control for CNC machines.

    • USB programming experience required

    • Experience programming Atmel MCUs a plus

  • C programming experience required.
  • Experience in the following areas a plus:

 G-code and motion control

 USB firmware programming

 Atmel experience a plus
