Sr Broadcast Maintenance Engineer

The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate and maintain broadcast equipment used at the NBC 17 Studios, microwave sites and transmitter site. The secondary purpose is to contribute to the future vision of NBC 17 operations including new technology, product quality and increased efficiencies. The Senior Maintenance Engineer must have a high level of experience in electrical, broadcast and mechanical engineering with a proven ability to initiate and coordinate projects from conception to implementation while meeting company goals and controlling expenses. Must have a proven ability to install, repair, and maintain all television broadcast and non-technical equipment. Must maintain appropriate documentation including service records as well as assist with general building maintenance as needed. Must execute company policies and programs related to this position. Must have a good understanding of computer systems and a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must have strong communication skills and proven ability to work well with fellow employees and departments. Two year degree or equivalent education and training in television technology.
5 yrs. of experience.
High level of experience including electrical, broadcast, and mechanical engineering with a proven ability to install, repair, and maintain television broadcast equipment. Proven ability to accomplish assignments in a timely manner. A good understanding of computer systems and a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office (or closely related software).
