Our Flexibility Asset Team is growing and now we are looking for our new colleague to support the development of our disruptive flexibility solutions!

We offer an excellent engineering opportunity in asset/project development of flexible power solutions such as battery storage technologies, Power-to-X alternatives aiming to shape the transition of the power sector. The candidate should have strong interest and must be experienced on that fields of power generation, who’s going to be involved in a wide range of activities ranging from conceptual project design through project management and asset construction to commissioning.

Job Description

  • Integration Project Management requires specific skillset to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a project
  • Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with parent/independent organization objectives
  • Align post NBO stage with M&A teams to set up the post acquisition day 1 readiness
  • Work with senior management to identify synergy and value enhancing opportunities
  • Supervising multiple teams (internal and external), tracking project deliverables and coordinating project work  
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
  • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables
  • Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
  • On some projects, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • His decisions have a serious impact on the overall success or failure on area of accountability
  • May take sub-function head roles as well (both finance and operations)

Qualifications

  • Economics  or engineering degree with finance post-degree qualifications, such as CFA
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience at multinational company project management / integration or Tier 1 consulting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Keen to understand business
  • Fluent English and Spanish – any additional European language advantageous (verbal and written)
  • Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required to build strong, sustainable and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills
  • Good communicational and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and to consistently produce high-quality deliverables
  • Experience in the power industry, especially in the field of renewables is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for short-term European assignments
