The resourcing function is responsible for allocating people, seating and machine resources to current and future projects.  As the Manager Workforce Planning & Analysis you will not only support the analysis of Workforce Planning requirements across MPC’s global studio locations, but also create and maintain the models that we use to strategically plan and deploy our resource, and will lead and maintain the development and execution of reporting and metrics across our Workforce Planning team.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

·      Analyse complex data and provide solutions for the short and long term

·      Create and maintain Dashboard reporting for our Workforce Planning function

·      Create and maintain complex and inter-connected Excel based planning models in order to support our Workforce Planning strategy

·      Develop exception reporting capability within our Workforce Planning models in order to ensure we have early warning indicators of production challenges

·      Process Mapping across the Workforce Planning function, documenting existing and future processes


·      Key outputs:

o   Headcount growth forecasting

o   Scenario planning based on business inputs

o   Facility requirements forecasting and deployment

o   Hiring requirements forecasting

o   Reporting and analysis as required

Work Experience:

·      Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance/Accounting or related field


Technical Knowledge/Skills:

·      Experience of Scheduling or Workforce Planning systems

·      Experience of creating and managing dashboard reporting

·      Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc..) and abilities to create and work in complex financial models

·      Business objects, VBA or SQL skills

·      Highly proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite
