As a result, we have a tangible impact on clients’ top and bottom lines.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Job Description                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  This position builds business partnerships with all levels of the region's management team to include Regional Directors, District Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and Sales Managers, to recommend HR solutions to their business issues. This position also functions as a resource to the hourly associates in the region.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  DUTIES:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Interprets company policies and supports business units                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Recommends courses of action and provides documentation to management in support of actions taken regarding Associate behavioral and performance issues. (i.e., performance improvement plans and corrective action documentation)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Develops new policies and makes recommendations for policy revisions as appropriate                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Conducts investigations in response to Associate complaints and recommends/implements courses of action based on investigation results                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Conducts exit interviews with salaried Associates and reports results                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Communicates and recommends changes, with regard to the annual performance appraisal process for hourly associates                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Prepares position statements for all employment related litigation, inquiries, or government changes                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Conducts Human Resource training (i.e., policy and procedure training, sexual harassment training, performance appraisal workshops, etc.)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           EXPERIENCE:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         1 to 5+ years of HR generalist experience with an emphasis in employee relations                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  MINIMUM EDUCATION:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Related training/education/experience in Human Resources or related SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
