Magic Leap Inc., is seeking a developer of novel human computing interfaces, software and content. Responsibilities

  • Create seamless integration into Unreal Engine needed for empowering high quality content development on Magic Leap hardware.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our SDK and content teams.
  • Support overall engineering and architecture effort of the SDK
  • Consult with Embedded and hardware teams on rendering performance.
  • Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code, leveraging test driven principles to develop high quality applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
  • Act as a mentor and subject matter expert within the company and developer community.
  • Build and maintain systems to drive compatibility testing.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years proficient experience working with the Unreal Engine
  • Expert level C++ in a production environment
  • Strong functional and automated testing, test strategy and planning and development experience
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine Editor and Blueprints customization.
  • Experience with game engines and mobile software development
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Extensive experience with API design and SDK architecture
  • Avid gamer, passionate, team player
