Amazing Junior to Midlevel Visual Designer

We're looking for a junior to mid-level visual designer with these qualities:

Creative, and passionate about exciting, innovative, conceptual and fun visual design.

Adaptable – self-starter and run with ideas and execute them. Also able to take direction well, and execute dictated design ideas when necessary

Versatile, and able to create in a range of design languages and styles

Great eye for detail

Strong typographic abilities

Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment, and easily shift focus

Collaborative and works well with our talented and friendly team

Tasks

Design projects may include:

Print (advertisements, brochures, stickers etc)

Packaging, POP, apparel/swag, product branding, trade show booths

Book/publication design

Interaction UI and visual design for web or product

Email and social media design

Animations, or storyboards for animations

And more...

Execution, refinement and production of existing concepts or designs

Potential web and digital design tasks

Presentation design (PowerPoint, PDF, etc)

Creation of POs for the Design Department

Experienced identity designer: strong logo and icon designer

Experienced print designer, able to produce print-ready designs, and source and supervise printing

Experienced web, interaction and UI designer

Motion and animation design a plus

Capable of visualizing and conceptualizing in 3d and in motion. Able to flow easily between 3d, 2d, motion, screen, print, etc.

Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, Microsoft Suite

Basic html, 3d drawing and animation programs a plus

Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure completion of projects in agreed time

Ability to express yourself and your work eloquently and concisely, both verbally and via email

Ability to color correct / re-touch product, action and lifestyle photography to a high level

Motion graphics and / or animation capabilities is a PLUS
