Responsible for coordinating the global execution of Marc By Marc Jacobs brand integrity and the quality of the customer experience at the point of sale, as it relates to visual merchandising.
Defines a compelling vision for the customer experience that includes all aspects of the multi-sensory store experience
Develops global visual merchandising strategies, sustainable visual tools, and processes.
Drives all global VM efforts in support of strengthening sales, real-estate efficiency, inventory sell-through and store productivity.
Creates and maintains a highly collaborative one company mindset by overseeing a global team of visual merchandisers that transmit brand DNA and VM skills.
Provides both strategic direction and operational support for excellence in visual merchandising in the five main regions of the company of Marc By Marc Jacobs (US, Asia, Japan, China and Europe).
Masters Degree preferred, BA acceptable
Excellent Visual Skills and professionally trained in the field
Proven ability to design and develop strong window concepts
Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships up/down/peers
Minimum 10 years relevant experience, namely in retail and in a VM capacity
Know how to use Indesign software
Stronger understanding of branding and the customer experience
Experience of a multi-channel business model
French and/or Mandarin and/or Japanese
Ability to travel 30% of the time, and flexibility to be able to partake in frequent conf calls with Asia and Japan
