To help in our planned growth, we are pro-actively recruiting for Java Developers for upcoming full-time and contract opportunities for our clients in Nova Scotia. The Java Developer will be a key member of our IT Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.

As part of the development team, you will be responsible for performing analysis, contributing to functional design, coding, unit testing and database development for outsource partners as the project initiatives and schedules require.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in building, enhancing, and maintaining Java/JEE applications.
• Expertise with technologies and tools including Spring, Spring-boot, RESTful services, JSP, JSF, JPA, EclipesLink, SQL/PLSQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages and principles, and relational database technologies.
• Additional expertise with .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC are considered an asset.
• Degree in Software/Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
