Job Description

We help transform healthcare organizations by applying the latest advances in data science and analytics to solve difficult business problems. We concentrate on helping payers and providers make better decisions through the innovative use of data. We work alongside C-level executives and their teams and we are looking for outstanding candidates with a strong drive to succeed who are enthusiastic about analytics and motivated to achieve our clients' business objectives through solutions that go beyond the latest thinking and accepted wisdom.


Responsibilities:


• On assignment, manages day-to-day client relationships 

• Acts as an assignment manager on small and medium-sized assignments, supervising small teams of two or three consultants while responsible for quality, profit and project planning 

• Participates in service proposition, business development work and thought leadership 

• Is receiving training in sales, operating assignments and communication skills 

• Where appropriate, personal career development, potentially resulting in promotion to Managing Consultant, will be encouraged


Compensation depends on location and experience. Bonuses are 10-15% of salary and are based on yearly performance. Share options are also provided as part of the compensation package.


Up to 100% travel is required for this role, dependent upon project location. Consultants will be on the road M-Th and in the office on Friday.

This position reports to a line manager, who is typically a senior consultant.

Qualifications

MUST HAVES:


• Bachelor's degree 

• 8-10 years of consulting experience 

• Experience in data science, business reporting and statistical analysis in a healthcare payer or provider environment 

• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: 

- Data Management 

- Business Intelligence and Reporting 

- Data Visualization 

- Predictive Modeling, using advanced statistical techniques 

- Experience with System Dynamics, Bayesian Networks and Machine Learning is strongly preferred, but not required 

- Familiarity with database technologies, BI platforms (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview), statistical 

tools (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS), and other quantitative modeling software packages 

• Ability to meet 100% travel requirement
