Job Description

The Capital Clinical Integrated Network (CCIN) seeks a self-motivated individual who is able work as a program coordinator of the CCIN CMS MMIS funded program.  The qualified individual will be able  to guide CCIN’s subscriber network consisting of community health centers, hospitals, practices, MCO’s, and the CCIN team of nurse coordinators as well as community health workers in using the CCIN Care coordination system. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of community health clinics and individual practices, including knowledge of clinical services and office work flow and have used an EHR in a clinical setting. He/She should also have experience in providing support to computer users, understand the fundamentals of Health Information Technology and have excellent communication skills. This is a position requires travel to local health centers and hospitals within the District of Columbia.

Qualifications

-This position requires a clinical background with hands-on experience in primary care clinic setting. Current experience or prior knowledge working as an Administrator and/or Practice Manager desired.

 

-Bachelors degree (or equivalent certifications)

 

-Knowledge of and/or formal training in health information technology.

 

-Experience with using Electronic Health Records and implementation of EHR preferred.

 

-Experience with telemedicine and videoconferencing is preferred

 

-Demonstrate ability to be a strong team leader and to work independently.

 

-Excellent presentation, project management, verbal and written communication and organization skills.

 

-Able to communicate to a diverse group of people, both verbally and in writing.
