Job Description

The role of the CCIN patient triage transport driver is to assist and support the clinical team, including the RN Care Coordinators, Emergency Medical Technician, Community Health Workers and Chief Nursing Officer in providing quality healthcare services to CCIN patients and guarantee safe driving, in addition to effectively linking patients to care with other community agencies.

Qualifications

·Education and/or Experience – Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for at least 5 years; Clean driving record. Have experience working in a public health/patient care environment. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus but not required.

-Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex, multi-step instructions

·Physical Demands – Regularly required to sit; frequently required to reach with hands and arms; required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear; must be able to lift objects up to twenty-five (25) pounds

-Work Environment – Mostly in a typical clinical office setting with quite to moderate noise level
