Job Description

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and providing comprehensive pre-sales support to the US Sales team. You will provide pre-sales support to the Sales Directors to secure that the key decision makers within our prospects are making content decisions based on hard customer data and develop long term and deep strategic client relationships in order to open up the potential to embed Maxymiser’s full suite of optimization and personalisation technologies within these organizations.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop communication around the capabilities of our product suite aimed at C-Level ,D-Level and M-Level prospects
  • Provide consultative insight into the application of Maxymiser’s product suite
  • Develop sales engagement strategy in conjunction with Sales Directors
  • Illustrate the total cost of ownership of Maxymiser versus the alternatives
  • Illustrate the typical client lifecycle and how to practically achieve a graduation from MVT into  the personalisation suite that will yield quick and tangible results
  • Evangelize new product launched within the sales organization
  • Support in trusted advisor role the President and others in public speaking events
  • Manage the production of responses to RFPs and RFIs
  • Responsible for providing technical feedback from the market to Product Marketing regarding product functionality and market/customer demands.
  • Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand the product roadmap and communicate to sales organization

Qualifications

  • Extensive track-record of outstanding performance  in quota-driven environments supporting direct sales (as opposed to via agencies) to online marketing departments
  • Relevant pre-sales experience in eBusiness, CRM, Web Analytics, CMS and/or AB and Multivariate testing
  • You will have carried a significant personal annual target and also have had demonstrable success in a team leadership position associated with supporting sales function in securing new and upsell revenues across a technically advanced product suite
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to maintain a high level of productivity and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative and team oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • An appreciation of web technologies is ideal, particularly HTML, CSS and Javascript, no coding experience required
  • Whilst not essential, it would be an advantage to have completed and operated under methodologies such as the gold and blue sheet Miller Heiman process for Strategic Account Management
