Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst, with a strong appreciation of business and user needs, to transform market problems uncovered by product management into user stories. You will liaise with engineering teams in Ukraine to support the implementation of product integrations with alliance partners in an Agile environment. You work closely with alliance partners and product managers and ensure that story implementation solves the original market problem, escalating any issues as necessary. Your development background will ensure that you are able to support Maxymiser in creating integrations with partner products so that the combined value to our clients exceeds the sum of their parts. You’ll play a pivotal role in communicating regularly with alliance partners and end-users (mostly in the US) to ensure that even the fine detail of our product integrations exceeds their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Take market problems and projects defined by product managers and produce epics and user stories for the engineering team to deliver an appropriate solution.
• Take ownership of user stories, resolving any technical versus user experience conflicts
• Work closely with engineering to define APIs and other means of cross-product integrations
• Provide support for the Agile development process, helping to optimise the engineering lifecycle
• Support technical writers, alpha/beta clients and launch team in preparation for release

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or software engineering subject
• Experience working in a product development environment, including experience of delivering integrations between products
• Experience of creating integrations between software products so that when combined, the products deliver more value than the sum of their parts
• Experience of gathering requirements from stakeholders outside of their own company
• A detailed understanding of API design
• Past experience of being part of a development team, including some experience in Agile
• Experience developing with an object-oriented programing language (e.g. Java/C#/C++) is a plus, a working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML is preferable
• Experience with validating and prioritising requirements
• Experience supporting software engineers to qualify technical requirements for a Cloud/SaaS product
• Experience of working with team members in other locations and across time zones is essential
• An appreciation of project management
• Hands-on experience of developing SaaS software products, marketing-related is a plus
