Job Description

Position title: Sales Manager
Location: New York City

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial development of Maxymiser’s new business. Sales Executives must stay fully abreast of all current and future product developments, best practice in prospecting, selling and account management.

Responsibilities:
• Driving new business revenue across Maxymiser's Multivariate Testing, Personalization and Cross Channel solution suite
• Generating business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
• Developing a sales plan, create and maintain a monthly sales forecast
• Meeting and exceeding all quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Owning the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure
• Uncover green field territories and make them your own by becoming a subject matter expert.
• Complete full handover to consultant and account management team of all new business won.
• Manage prospect communication and pipeline in Maxymiser CRM (Salesforce.com)
• Consult at C-level about tactics and strategies to inject rapid growth into businesses that have revenues run  through the online channel
• Liaise internally with Maxymiser divisions to build product and technology knowledge to a level that facilitates expert discussion at C-Level.
• Illustrate why Maxymiser “Future-proofs” businesses in the space of website content optimization.
• Developing and maintaining senior-level relationships within target accounts
• Reviewing market to determine customer needs and reporting back changing market conditions to management
• Following best practices in sales processes/procedures

Qualifications


• Successful sales track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota between $500k and $1M per annum
• Relevant consultative and strategic selling in SaaS, ASP, eBusiness or CRM software
• 3-5 years proven hunting/closing experience, ideally with a track record in software sales
• Good understanding of online marketing
• Excellent oral and written communications skills including strong presentation/demo skills both in person and via phone/web presentation
• Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, rapid change environment
• Independent self-starter
• Quick learner, ability to quickly absorb new concepts and ideas
