Job Description

Position title: Solutions Engineer - German Speaker
Location: London, UK

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer fluent in German to join our office in London. The successful candidate will act as an in-region technical specialist to support the Client Services department through a deep understanding of Maxymiser functionality. Particular focus will be paid to creating tools and processes to generate efficiency gains both in Client Services and Global Technical Services teams and training internal teams on technical aspects of the product. Client facing work will form an essential part of the role and the ideal candidate will be expected to spec and deliver custom solutions for complex campaigns such as campaigns based around flash elements or integrating with a new third party.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

  • Become a leading point of technical reference for all possible Maxymiser campaign types and configuration.

  • Provide input into campaign ideas and the most effective way to achieve a campaign that is both technically possible and measureable.

Continuous Improvement

  • Create tools to automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks.

  • Create and deploy solutions to work around technical limitations.

Client Service Delivery

  • Provide timely and thorough assistance for client impacting issues.

  • Provide support and guidance for client ideas and concerns.

Communication and Influencing

  • Provide a technical bridge between the Technical team in the Ukraine and the Client Services team in the UK, identify process issues in both GTS and CS and manage the delivery of solutions.

  • Feed into the product development process and harness the opinions of others to put weight behind the suggestions.

  • Share ideas and solutions with SE’s in other regions and reduce duplication of work.

  • Communicate product intricacies, pitfalls and hidden features across the wider CS team.

Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide a technical point of expertise for the sales team.

  • Meet and present technical information to prospective clients where required.

  • Build demonstration campaigns for prospective clients.

  • Advise on integration and be able to run the technical on-boarding process.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Essential:

  • University degree or equivalent

  • 3 years+ experience in a technical support role- 1st line support/application support/desktop support

  • Fluency in German

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external client stakeholders

  • Ability to quickly absorb new concepts and ideas

Desirable:

  • IOS App experience (this can be as an interest rather than commercial experience)

  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  • Experience with server-side web technology. 

  • Experience with web analytics software.

  • Experience with online testing and website optimisation.
