Job Description
Position title: JavaScript Support Engineer
Location: New York City
As a JavaScript Support Engineer you will proactively assist in the delivery of technical support and services to Regional Clients. Additionally you will liaise with the internal Maxymiser team to continually highlight updates in documentation, training, online knowledge base and product functionality. The ideal JavaScript Support Engineer should have knowledge of front-end development languages (JavaScript, CSS, and HTML) and be comfortable effectively communicating coding solutions to client driven A/B and Multivariate testing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Assist in providing client technical support, as well as troubleshooting self-serve and hybrid client coded solutions
Closely follow technical integrations and successful campaigns with fortune 100 companies
Review and understand client website architecture, including 3rd party software and custom integrations
Provide coding best practices to client development teams
Support regional on boarding activities for all new clients
Remain at the forefront of the latest enhancements in front-end development
Become a subject matter expert of the Maxymiser platform
Identify and document feedback and customer needs to the product team and other executives
Work closely and communicate effectively across teams to ensure client success
Liaise with Training team and Technical Writers on improvements to online help and training
Qualifications
Requirements:
Knowledge of front-end coding languages (JavaScript, (X)HTML, CSS, etc...) and webpage structures
Excellent oral and written communication skills
An analytical mind with strong problem solving skills
A consultative approach to issue investigation, analysis and resolution
Good working knowledge of web based technologies including, web analytics and other 3rd party technologies.
Understanding of standard Internet vocabulary such as DNS, websites, CDNs, DOM
Desirable:
Understanding of A/B and Multivariate testing
Experience working with Fortune 100 companies
