We're looking for a Team lead Backend with a strong software development background (SDLC) as well as the capability to lead a team of software engineers by providing technical mentorship.In this role, you will understand the technical landscape and architecture, set the direction for the team and find ways to move forward when obstacles arise.

You will also…

• develop a highly distributed, massively scalable microservices based Backend (our stack: Golang, Node.js, gRPC/GQL/Websocket/Redis) for our Real-estate Plattform 

• Work closely with our Head of Engineering and leadership team to ensure development is done as per roadmap

• manage your own workflow to meet the deadlines you have set with your team in an Agile environment 

• ensure feasibility of development as per roadmap in line with our microservice architecture 

• build relationships and cooperate with different stakeholders from several Product- and other Scrum- Teams

• act as escalation point of contact for Backend

• You have experience building mission-critical, reliable, and performant systems

• 5+ years of experience in one of the Programming Languages (Golang prefer. Java or other languages is fine)

• Experience as a technical lead in architecting, building, and deploying microservice architectures

• Team lead or demonstrable technical mentorship experience driving towards a goal or key business objectives

• In-depth knowledge in GCP and MongoDB

• You are familiar with Node.js and Kubernetes

• You have strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail

• Have a “Hands on” mentality combined with a Start-up Spirit

• You speak English on a proficient level
