medneo is an established, innovative German imaging company with static and mobile services across Germany and also in Zurich. medneo's services are tailored to deliver efficient, high quality imaging services for patients and referrers. medneo will be opening its first UK centre in central London in Autumn 2019 with mobile MRI units also being mobilised in 2019.

Reporting to Mobile Operations Manager the radiography team will perform a full range of MRI procedures from medneo's new mobile MRI Scanners.

medneo’s focus is on patient care and delivering exemplary service to patients, referrers, radiologists and customers. As a radiographer in medneo's new flagship mobile service you will be working with a new 1.5T Siemens scanners. medneo is fully committed to supporting your professional development, this will include: access to Siemens class room and on-line training courses. In addition medneo's Berlin MedTech department will provide on-line and on-site applications support. Each radiographer will have an agreed training programme and will be supported to ensure they achieve their personal goals.

The post holder may also be required to travel to Berlin occasionally to develop and maintain the UK/Germany relationship and to be able to share best practices.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performance of a variety of MRI examinations including contrast and non-contrast
  • Leading in the delivery of specialised advanced examinations e.g. cardiac, neurological and musculoskeletal
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service and care for medneo patients
  • Active participation in the management of the service: quality, health and safety, infection prevention and control, management of emergencies and audit
  • Contribution to the constant improvement of internal processes in collaboration with the UK management team and medneo's Medical Technology team (based in Berlin)
  • Confident decision maker, who accepts and delivers constructive feedback whenever needed

Skills and Experience

  • Senior Radiographer, ideally with over five year's MRI experience
  • Proven experience of excellence in leading mobile service days
  • Exemplary patient care
  • A positive attitude towards work and a can-do attitude
  • Up to date CPD portfolio
  • A recognised qualification in I.V. cannulation
  • Willingness to be actively involved in medneo's strive for excellence
  • Complies, at all times, with medneo’s corporate values, legal and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Passionate about learning from different cultures by working closely together with individuals from different countries
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • An interest in career progression and undertaking additional responsibilities
