Mercury Insurance is seeking a motivated, outgoing Commercial Marketing Representative to build our Commercial Auto insurance product in California.  Our Commercial Auto product is one of Mercury’s fastest growing lines of business, and we are looking for a pro-active, creative, and driven individual to help establish our presence and drive sales.

 

As a Commercial Marketing Rep, you will be the critical connection between Mercury and the independent agency force that services our customers. Your first two years will be action packed, and you'll spend 75% of your time traveling and growing your territory as you appoint independent agents to become authorized Mercury representatives. You'll also educate and train our agents on how to sell Mercury products, help them develop profitable marketing strategies, and much more!

Qualifications

We prefer that our Marketing Representatives have a four-year degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of 2-3 years prior experience marketing Property & Casualty insurance products.

 

We will also consider candidates who have demonstrated high levels of performance in P&C underwriting; solving complex customer problems; creating and interpreting reporting data via Excel spreadsheets; building relationships with an indepdent agency sales force; managing time and priorities effectively; and creating memorable, positive experiences for our customers and agents.
