Job Description

If you’re a nurse educator who likes ADVANCE for Nurses, this is your opportunity to join our team as a Lead Nurse Planner for our popular Continuing Education offerings. You’ll ensure that ADVANCE for Nurses adheres to the ANCC accreditation criteria for all operational aspects of providing continuing nursing education activities and criteria that pertain to the operations of the organization as a Provider Unit. You’ll work closely with the ADVANCE staff to ensure that all objectives are being fulfilled.  This is a part time position, approximately 10 hours/week.

 

Responsibilities

 

- Plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of each CNE activity.

- Ensure that appropriate educational design principles are used and processes are consistent with the requirements of the ANCC Primary Accreditation Program.

- Assist in the ANCC application, self-study, and virtual organization visit.

- Ensure completion and review of the biographical/conflict of interest forms to ensure appropriate qualifications and evaluation of actual or potential conflicts of interest.

- Assist to resolve any issues related to providing CNE.

- Compose or review test questions that gauge readers’ comprehensive of the material.


Qualifications

Must hold a current, valid license as an RN and a master’s degree or higher, with either the baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing (or international equivalent).

- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, with minimum 3 years in education, continuing education or staff development with proven skills in test writing.

- Work in our convenient King of Prussia, PA office

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Work, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Manage multiple task and projects.

- Flexibility in a high-paced environment.

- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

- Detail-orientated.

- Knowledge if educational design principles and adult learning theory.

- Experience with the ANCC accreditation process is preferred but not required.
