Job Description

We’re seeking a Software Tester to join our IT team.  You’ll work closely with the developers in an agile environment, focusing on our technology solutions that support business requirements for client/server and web-based applications.  You’ll be responsible for ensuring product functionality, reliability, usability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and implement test plans including creating test cases
  • Automate test cases to ensure product functionality, increase efficiencies and support white box testing
  • Execute functional, regression and performance testing
  • Track, document and verify resolution of defects
  • Attend and participate in daily scrum meetings
  • Provide specific guidance on defects to developers
  • Participate in defect triage sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, preparing and loading test data, creating test scenarios and designing black/white box tests.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in design and coding of test automation. Experience with commercial test automation software packages and creating custom test automation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience designing and implementing tests to ensure data quality
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following programming languages is required: Java, .NET (C# or VB), PHP, Magento
  • Experience working with MySQL, MSFT SQL Server and the ability to write simple to moderate SQL queries is preferred.
  • Experience in a variety of testing such as Function, Boundary, Exception, Penetration, Integration Test, System Test, and Regression Testing
  • Proven ability to successfully work with other team members across departments and levels of authority
  • Performs a wide variety of tasks, under minimal direction, on multiple projects.
  • Proven innovative thinker with ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

This position is based in our offices in King of Prussia, PA. It is not a telecommute position. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship -- we do not offer sponsorship at this time.
