We are a growing and successful international marketing agency with North American headquarters in Kirkland, WA. We deliver a wide range of services for our clients including digital strategy, UX, creative, technology, mobile apps, content, social media, email marketing and analytics. We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to partner with our clients and manage their US social media programs.

Who are you?

You are an experienced social media manager who is passionate about #hashtags, generating conversation, and analyzing and replicating successful social media content strategies across various industries. You make social media decisions based upon strategic data, and know how and where to find the data that you need.

Metia seeks a Social Media Manager to help our clients drive channel growth, create engagement via valuable content, and help support overall brand awareness on social media. Successful applicants will possess a positive attitude and be passionate about consistent content strategy and development across networks. This applies to writing social copy, familiarity of—and ability to create—ideal social images, and knowledge of various social media measurement tools. Candidates should also be organized and motived, and be able to work directly with clients to deliver on social media campaigns that help support their business goals. This role is located in our Kirkland, Washington office and is expected to last through April 2017.

What you will do:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across our client brands and products

Lead the development of organization-wide social media management standards, policies, and rules of engagement for social media

Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise-level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success

Work with clients to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns

Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely

Identify, create, and promote thought-leading content about our clients’ innovations and products

Engage and interact with the client’s customers online in order to create informed and relevant content and to build relationships

Experience managing online social communities including responding to user questions, concerns, and needs with minimal client input using various online and SME resources

Initiate and contribute to relevant industry conversations online

This role is ideal for a self-starter/self-editor who can achieve high quality results with minimal supervision

Identify and engage relevant industry influencers

Understand and appraise how new and specialist social media platforms can be used to further content reach

Build, maintain, and implement content plans and editorial calendars

Work closely with internal teams in the Kirkland office, including Account Team, Project Management, Software, Design, and Editorial, to ensure programs and projects run smoothly and are delivered on time

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree (or relevant work experience) required

A proven track record of implementing successful social media programs

3+ years relevant industry work experience preferred

Strong Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype)

Local applicants only

Ideal candidates will have:

Strong Extended Office software skills (PowerBI, Visio)

Experience with various social media platforms, including Yammer

Microsoft and agency experience preferred

Experience with social for B2B and technology

Experience working with tight deadlines

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

A willingness to learn, adapt, and manage various projects across multiple work streams
